We would like to inform you about upcoming changes to Zenamu, which will take effect from September 1, 2024.

The changes concern the current plans:

The “Professional” and “Studio” plans will no longer be available and will be replaced by 3 new plans - “Lite”, “Professional”, and “Expert/Studio”.

The free plan (“Getting Started”) will not be limited by the number of classes scheduled in a given period.

Each plan will differ based on features and the number of orders placed within a monthly period.

We would like to explain why we have decided to take this step.

From the original small hobby project that Barbara and I have been working on since 2021 in our free time, we have developed a comprehensive system over the past two years (and according to your feedback, it remains easy to understand!) for managing your open classes, courses, workshops, and various types of passes.

During the time we have been working on Zenamu, we have enriched it with countless new features and improvements. Your feedback and our commitment to quality have inspired us to improve continuously.

Some of the significant features we have added to the system since its launch include:

• Transparent cancellation policies “at the last minute” thanks to automatic cancellation fees
• Sophisticated course management including the ability to get refunds, sign up for remaining slots in ongoing courses at a discount, or offer available spots in unfilled slots (course slot booking ala open class)
• Plugins for integrating into your website
• PDF Receipts and exports for accounting
• Automatic event and client tags for better visibility and faster navigation
• Advanced analytics and statistics for tracking your orders and revenues
• Connecting to email marketing tools
• More user-friendly interface: we continue to improve the system's user interface both from your perspective and from the perspective of your clients

We believe that the new plans reflect the added value and capabilities that our platform currently offers.

Still the best price/performance ratio on the market​

Even after the price adjustment, our offer remains the best solution on the market. Compared to others, Zenamu offers a range of features typically considered premium even in the basic version. It doesn't make sense to limit you at the start, for example, by the number of clients, the inability to offer discounted passes or accept card payments, or restrictions on embedding your schedule into your website.

These are all things that can help your business and teaching practice grow!

Why did we decide to limit our plans based on the number of orders?

With a higher number of orders, your practice grows and develops. This system allows us to better tailor our services to your needs and ensure that with Zenamu you get the support and features that match the size and dynamics of your business.

1 order = 1 (active = not cancelled) booking for an open class, 1 (active) booking for the entire course, or 1 (active) workshop booking.

Questions and Answers​

I have a free plan (“Getting Started”) - what will happen?​

Your current plan “Getting Started” will be automatically updated on September 1 to reflect the new plan conditions.

I have a prepaid “Professional” or “Studio” plan - until when can I use it after September 1?​

Your current plan will remain functional with all existing features according to the currently valid price list (current Pricing) until the end of the prepaid period.

This means:

• If you have previously subscribed to a plan for a year, which expires for example on February 17, 2025, nothing will change for you until that time
• Monthly plans that extend beyond September 1 (i.e., the last regular payment for the current “Professional”/“Studio” plan subscription will be made on August 25, so the subscription will end on September 25) will remain functional until the end of the prepaid period

After the expiration, your accounts will automatically switch to the basic free plan - “Getting Started”.

You will be informed about the switch by email. We apologize in advance for the temporary limitation of features while your account is on the “Getting Started” plan.

How can I order a new plan after switching to the basic plan?​

From September 1, you will be able to switch between new plans yourself if needed (see “What if I exhaust the order limit for a given period with the new plan?” below) thanks to the change of our payment gateway provider (Stripe). You will be able to switch from lower to higher plans and vice versa.

However, you will need to authorize a new card payment. In other words:

After switching to the basic free plan, you will need to place a new order.

What if I exhaust the order limit for the given period with the new plan?​

If you exhaust the order limit in a lower plan, you can switch to a higher plan, pay the proportional amount for the higher plan, and continue using Zenamu without restrictions.

🗓️ Navigate Your Schedule Week by Week Right on Your Website​

Displaying sessions for the upcoming 30 days works great for a handful of classes each month. However, in our quest to continuously improve Zenamu and make it even more user-friendly, we're excited to introduce a new way to present your schedule: WEEKLY.

Activating this new feature is a breeze—simply head to the same section in the admin panel where you initially grabbed the code for your site. We're confident this addition will make planning and finding sessions more straightforward for both you and your clients.

💌 ✅ Verifying Email Accuracy and Existence​

Typos? No worries! They happen to the best of us, especially on mobile 🙂.

However, an incorrectly entered email means no booking confirmation, class cancellation info, or payment request reaches your client.

Zenamu now automatically verifies the accuracy and existence of the email provided, alerting clients to potential errors before they complete their booking.

This enhancement ensures greater reliability and improved deliverability of emails for you and your practitioners 🙌.

🔍 Client Search by Email​

A handy update to wrap things up: in your client overview, you now have the ability to search not just by first and last name, but also by email address.

Tags serve as a powerful tool to assist your clients in navigating through your offerings more effectively. They also offer you a clearer overview of your clientele. 🙂

Think of it this way​

Your class schedule is packed with yoga, pilates, and massage sessions.

By assigning specific tags— yoga to your yoga classes, pilates to your pilates sessions, and massage to your massage appointments—you make it simpler for clients who are seeking a particular service, such as a massage, to find exactly what they're interested in.

How does this work? It allows you to filter the appointments in your public schedule by teacher, location, and now by tag as well.

Enhancing Your Public Schedule with Filters​

Class tags ➡️ client tags​

Now, when a client books any of your tagged classes, that same tag will automatically be applied to their profile as well. This feature provides you with a comprehensive view of the client table, showcasing the specific classes chosen by individual clients.

For instance, this enhancement allows you to target your marketing emails and newsletters with greater precision and relevance 😉.

And if you're curious whether these tags sync with your email marketing tools — given that Zenamu already supports integration with platforms like Mailchimp — we're delighted to confirm that they indeed do!

While client tags have been a feature in Zenamu for some time, they previously required manual assignment. Now, we've come full circle with the introduction of automatic tag assignment: when a client books a class that has a specific tag, that tag will now automatically be added to their profile 🙂.

Additionally, this seamless tagging functionality extends to our plugin, allowing you to embed the class schedule directly on your website with all the filtering capabilities intact.

You can't do that without your Facebook or Instagram feeds complementing your service offerings - ideally with quick booking and client payment options.

By creating an account with Zenamu, you get a simple booking system and your online calendar for listing open classes, courses or workshops.

If you add a link to the booking calendar to your social media profiles, clients get an idea of your offer and book their chosen class.

The Booking system on the web​

Thanks to our easy integration, the calendar is embedded into your website. So if you run your website on Webnode, WordPress or Wix.com, for example, the current offer of your services will also be visible there. The plugins allow for a closer connection with clients who are used to visiting your site first, so they get information about upcoming events sooner.

And Zenamu will give you the convenience of managing bookings, orders and other follow-up communication with clients.

You can customize the calendar yourself to your taste and create your unique style.

How can you do that?​

In your account admin, after logging into Zenam, upload an image with your logo or photo and a background image of your schedule page.

Assign the colours you like and, ideally, match to the classes and templates. All done with the help of our colour picker, which is available in the system.

You may be wondering how our booking system can help you with this.

In Zenamu, you can now integrate your account with two tools for bulk email sending.

With Mailchimp and SmartEmailing, you can create and send playful and creative newsletters from one place, ensuring your clients are informed about all the news, upcoming courses or workshops and stay on time.

Thanks to these tools, you'll also get insights into how many of them read your message or whether it was delivered!

How does the integration work exactly?​

Once you choose one of the tools, all your contacts will be instantly imported into it.

It includes:

• First and last name of the client
• Email
• Phone number

In Mailchimp, you can also add labels that you can assign to clients in Zenamu (in Mailchimp, they call it "Tags")

The system respects it if someone decides not to subscribe to your promotional emails when making a booking. You'll recognize these clients in Zenamu by the absence of an Email Marketing Agreement checkbox next to their names. Their contact information is uploaded into the tool but marked not to receive your communications.

Newly registered clients​

Once you have the integration enabled, when a new client signs up for your class, they are automatically imported from Zenamu into Mailchimp or SmartEmailing.

If later on, you send a newsletter and a client unsubscribes, this information is automatically synchronized back to Zenamu.
